Trial Summary

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) appears to be an effective treatment for diabetic foot ulcers, with this recent meta-analysis adding further support for its use. The findings from the meta-analysis revealed that PRP exhibited a healing rate that was twice as high as the control group, healing time was shortened by 2 days and none of the Randomized Controlled Trials (RCT) studies reported any adverse events in the PRP group.
